# Exceptions for unsupported countries

If you are a citizen of a restricted country listed here, [Unsupported Countries](/docs/help-center/fizen-card/unsupported-countries.md) but you currently live in another country/region that is supported, you may still be eligible to create a Fizen Card by submitting valid proof of legal residency during verification.

Accepted documents may include:

* Residence permit/resident card
* Eligible long-term visa (where permitted)
* Local driver’s license (issued by the country where you live)
* Other official government-issued residency documents (case-by-case)

Approval is subject to compliance checks and document verification. Fizen reserves the right to request additional information or decline applications where required by regulation or risk controls
