# Practical applications

With Fizen's 3 products and a rich ecosystem of users and partners, Fizen has many practical applications. Two of the applications we are currently focusing on are:

1. International Travel without Cards or Cash.
2. Cross-Border E-commerce.

We understand that cryptocurrency is currently best suited for cross-border payments, so we are concentrating on applications with international elements. In the near future, likely within the next 3-5 years, as cryptocurrencies become more mainstream, users may use cryptocurrency in parallel with fiat currency or Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Users won't be limited to using cryptocurrencies only for cross-border transactions. They can work for a foreign company and receive their salary in cryptocurrency, save in cryptocurrency, and use it for everyday amenities like coffee, movies, groceries, or for cross-border transactions such as buying luxury handbags or traveling.

When this vision becomes a reality, Fizen is prepared!
